Chairside Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Chairside, published by FCT Technologies LLC. They sit under the FCT Technologies terms of service, which cover the FCT account and the systems every FCT app shares.

Using Chairside

Chairside keeps a private book of your clients: their formulas, their last visit, their photos and the notes you take. Using it requires an FCT account, which carries the book across your own devices.

You are responsible for what you put into the app and for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not use Chairside to store anything you are not entitled to store.

Your clients’ information is yours to handle lawfully

Chairside stores information about other people, which makes you the one responsible for it. You confirm that you have any consent your local law requires before recording a client’s details or photographing their hair, skin or work, and that you will handle what you record in line with the law that applies to your business. FCT provides the tool; the relationship with your client is yours.

Not professional or cosmetological advice

Chairside is a record-keeper. It does not recommend formulas, predict how a product will behave on a given client, or advise on patch testing, allergies or contraindications. Every professional judgement remains yours, and you should follow your manufacturer’s instructions and your licensing body’s rules.

Chairside Pro

Chairside is free to use for up to 15 active clients, with the whole loop included: notes, formulas, visit photos, Siri and sync.

Chairside Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly and yearly, with a free trial for new subscribers. Current pricing is shown in the App Store before you purchase, in your local currency.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

If your subscription lapses, you keep full access to everything already in the app. The limit applies to adding more, never to viewing, editing or exporting what is already there.

Availability

We aim to keep Chairside and its sync service working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. What is already on your device stays readable when the service is unreachable.

Your data

Our handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy. You may delete this app’s data, or your entire FCT account, from within the app at any time.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
