Personal Context Terms of Use
These terms sit under the FCT Technologies terms of service, which cover the FCT account and the systems every app shares.
These Terms govern your use of Personal Context, published by FCT Technologies LLC. They sit under the FCT Technologies terms of service, which cover the FCT account and the systems every FCT app shares.
Using Personal Context
Personal Context is one chat that reaches the records inside the FCT apps you connect, plus the calendar, reminders and contacts on your own device. Using it requires an FCT account, which carries your conversations and your settings across your devices.
You are responsible for what you put into the app and for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not use Personal Context to store anything you are not entitled to store.
It performs actions in your apps
When you ask for something to be done, Personal Context calls the same function the owning app’s own button calls. “Log 185 for 5 on bench” writes a real set into Villain Arc, and it is there when you open it, on every device you sign in on.
That means the actions you ask for are real and they are yours. A model can misread an instruction, so check the result the way you would check anything you asked somebody else to enter for you. Every tool the chat ran on a turn is listed in the conversation, so you can see what it did.
Which apps it may reach is your choice, one switch each. An app you have not connected cannot be read or written at all.
It answers with a language model, so check anything that matters
Personal Context will talk about anything, and its answers come from a language model. A model can be confidently wrong. It can misread something you saved, miss something you did save, or state a detail that is not there. Anything you would act on, spend money on, or rely on in a decision that matters should be checked against the source.
Personal Context needs Apple Intelligence turned on to answer at all. Where the on-device model is unavailable, the app says so rather than pretending otherwise.
Not professional advice
Nothing Personal Context says is medical, legal, financial, tax or any other kind of professional advice, whatever the question was or how confidently it answers. For that, ask a qualified professional.
What you put in it
You keep every right in what you save. You are responsible for it being lawful for you to hold, and for not putting in anything that would be unlawful for us to store on your behalf. Do not use Personal Context to generate or store material that is illegal, or that is designed to harm or harass someone.
Servers you add yourself
Personal Context can reach outside services that speak the Model Context Protocol. You add one by address, and its tools then appear in the chat.
Those services are not ours. We do not operate them, we do not vet them, and we are not responsible for what they do with what a tool call sends them. Adding a server is your decision to send data to whoever runs it, on their terms rather than ours.
Personal Context Pro
Personal Context is free to use, and the free tier is the whole everyday product: the chat, one connected FCT app, and your own calendar, reminders and contacts.
Personal Context Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly, with a free trial for new subscribers. It adds every FCT app connected at once, deeper requests on Apple’s Private Cloud Compute, and outside servers. Current pricing is shown in the App Store before you purchase, in your local currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
If your subscription lapses, nothing you have is taken away: your conversations stay, and the apps you connected stay connected. What you cannot do is connect another one past the first.
Availability
We aim to keep Personal Context and its sync service working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Signing in for the first time needs a connection. After that the app works offline against everything already synced to this device, and a request that needs Apple’s Private Cloud Compute falls back to an on-device answer.
Your data
Our handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy. You may delete one conversation, everything this app holds, or your entire FCT account, from within the app at any time.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
