Live Activity
Pace, gaps and the next stop on the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island, and on the car's screen through CarPlay.
Convoy is live location for the people you're actually driving with, for the length of the trip and not one minute longer. Start a convoy, hand out the code, and everyone sees the whole crew on one screen until you arrive.
You in the middle, the crew stacked ahead and behind with the live gap to each one. See who's two cars up and who fell back a mile, before the next exit.
Every convoy is joined on purpose and boxed in time. You agree to share before anything is sent, and one tap leaves. Sharing stops on its own when you arrive or when you leave, and no convoy outlives the day. There is no always-on mode.
Your live position goes to the riders in that convoy and to nobody else. It passes through a relay that discards it within five minutes and keeps no history. The route of your own trip is saved to your own private account, because it's yours.
Built for a phone in a tank bag and a watch on a wrist: the trip on the Lock Screen, a stop from Siri, and the garage that reads your own service invoices.
Pace, gaps and the next stop on the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island, and on the car's screen through CarPlay.
The gap ahead and behind on your wrist, and a tap to call a stop.
"Start a convoy." "Where's the crew?" "Call a fuel stop." Hands on the bars.
Photograph a service invoice and Convoy reads the date, the shop and the odometer on your device, then tells you what's due next.
The next ride and the vehicle that needs attention, at a glance.
Your trips and your garage on iPhone and Mac, and yours to export or delete.
For the ride out and for the years of rides after it.
The riders in the convoy you joined, for as long as that convoy runs, and nobody else. Your position passes through a relay that discards it within five minutes and keeps no history. When you arrive or leave, sharing stops on its own. The route of your own trip is saved to your own account because it's yours. Nobody else's route is.
The crew's positions need one to update, so a stretch with no coverage shows the last known gap and says so. Your own trip keeps recording on the phone regardless and fills in when you're back in range.
It's for any group that drives together and wants to stay together: bikes, a road trip in three cars, a club run. Motorcycle crews are who it was built for first, which is why a stop is one tap and the trip lives on the Lock Screen.
Convoy is one of thirteen FCT apps on one account. Sign in once and the apps know each other. The same standard goes into what we build for clients.
