Save it. Watch it. It clears itself off the list.

Marquee is a movie and TV tracker built on one loop: save what you want to watch, mark it watched, and it leaves the watchlist everywhere. A poster-first library that works offline, episode-level TV, and a trailer feed that learns your taste.

iPhone, iPad and Mac · library and artwork on your device · recommendations that learn on the phone

A look inside

A library that reads like a shelf.

Movies and shows side by side, filtered by watchlist, watched or rated, sorted the way you actually browse.

How it works

A trailer feed you can fall into.

Discover is a full-screen feed, one title per swipe, picked by a recommender that runs on your device and learns from what you save, rate and skip. Thumbs up or down as you go and the next swipe already reflects it. Nothing about your taste leaves the phone.

Share a screenshot from any app, or hand one to Visual Intelligence, and Marquee reads the title off it and finds the match. The first read happens on your device; a hard one goes to Apple's Private Cloud Compute for a second look.

Apple-native, end to end

Deep where it counts.

Marquee keeps the whole library on the device, learns your taste there, and asks the cloud only for the hard reads.

Visual Intelligence

Point at a frame, or share a screenshot, and Marquee finds the title.

Private Cloud Compute

A screenshot the device can't read goes to Apple's private cloud for a second look, and nowhere else.

Siri and Shortcuts

"Add Heat to my watchlist." "What's next on The Wire?" "What did I rate highest?"

Widgets

What's next, and the next air date of a show you're part-way through.

Spotlight

Any title in your library, from the Home Screen.

One account

iPhone, iPad and a real Mac app, kept in step by your FCT account.

FAQ

Marquee, answered

01 Where does the recommendation engine run?

On your device. It learns from what you save, rate and skip, and the next swipe reflects it, without your taste going anywhere. Title and artwork data comes from TMDB, and Marquee is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

02 Does it work without a connection?

The library does: the grid, the ratings, the episode progress and the artwork are all on your device before you need them. Discover's trailers and a new title's details need a connection, the way any video does.

03 Where is my library stored?

On your device and in your FCT account, which is what puts the same shelf on your iPad and your Mac and gives it back after a reinstall. You can delete your Marquee data, or the whole account, from Settings.

This is how FCT builds.

Marquee is one of thirteen FCT apps on one account. Sign in once and the apps know each other. The same standard goes into what we build for clients.
