Open a session and the app deals you a small deck from your own library, a few frames at a time, so you are not scrolling thirty thousand photos looking for somewhere to begin. Write what it was. Move on. Ten minutes leaves a record where there was none.

Memory Lane, answered
01 Does Memory Lane change my Photos library?
No. It reads your library in place and never copies, moves or deletes a photo. What it keeps is the writing, linked back to the photo it was about, on your device and in your FCT account so the same record is on your iPad and your Mac.
02 Do I have to write about everything?
No, and the app is built so you won't feel you should. The photos you haven't written about show as quiet gaps in the lane, each one an invitation into a session for that stretch. There are no streaks and no completion bars. A record of the moments that mattered is worth more than coverage.
03 Can I get my writing out?
Always, as plain text, with the dates and the photo references. You can delete your Memory Lane data, or the whole account, from Settings. Your photos are untouched either way.
