The walk is turned into text on the phone. No signal needed, and nothing you said goes anywhere.
Scope is for the person who does the work: handymen, plumbers, electricians, painters, landscapers, roofers. Walk the job talking through it, and Scope drafts the estimate from your own price book, never a price it invented, so you send a branded bid before you drive off.
The bid gets built while you're still on site, out of what you'd have said anyway.
Hit record, walk the property saying what you'd say anyway, "replace the p-trap under the kitchen sink, two hours", and snap photos as you go. Scope turns that into line items and prices them from your price book. It cannot make up a number: the part that reads your words has no price field at all. Anything it doesn't recognize comes to you to price once, and then it knows it.
Swipe through the drafted line items in the truck, fix a quantity, delete what doesn't belong. Nothing goes out without your eyes on it.
Scope is built for a phone in a work glove: voice first, on-device, a signature on the iPad, and Siri for the back office.

"Walk a job." "Did they accept?" "What's unbilled?" "What's my pipeline?"
Messages, Mail or AirDrop, with your logo and your terms.
Hand the client the estimate and take a signature right there.
Photograph one and Scope pulls the items into your price book, unpriced, because the prices are yours.
iPhone, iPad and a real Mac app for the month's ledger, kept in step by your FCT account.
What you get on day one.
Because you told it, once. Pick your trade and Scope loads a starter catalog of the work you actually bid, unpriced. Price the items you use and it remembers them; photograph an old invoice and it pulls the items out for you to price. When a walk mentions something the book doesn't have, that item comes to you to price, and then it's in the book. Scope never fills a price in for you.
Yes. Recording, transcription, drafting the estimate and producing the PDF all run on the phone. A basement or a rural job site changes nothing. Sending needs a connection, the same as any message.
A clean, branded PDF with your logo and your terms, sent by Messages, Mail or AirDrop, plus an accept link. When they tap it, the job flips to won on your side. The bid is yours: the terms say so, and Scope never puts a number in it that you didn't.
Scope is one of thirteen FCT apps on one account. Sign in once and the apps know each other. The same standard goes into what we build for clients.
